Intermittent Fasting: How I Got Started & How It’s Going
I'm sharing how I got started Intermittent Fasting (just 4 months ago) and how it's going.
More… Gratitude. Less… Complaint
God’s word tells us to “give thanks IN all circumstances” (emphasis mine), not to give thanks FOR all circumstances. The Bible tells us that in this world, we will have suffering, and that God has overcome the world! We don’t have to be thankful FOR the suffering, but we can be thankful IN it.
More Generosity… Less Scarcity
When we are in a scarcity mindset, we want to protect what we have for fear of going without. Fear is the basis for being in this mindset.
More consistency…. Less giving in
We often tell ourselves that this little thing won’t make a difference, so I’ll just skip today, or I’ll just eat a little bit more or just this once won’t hurt.
We give in to the little things in the moment and those little things and those moments add up.
More… finding things to be thankful for. Less… focusing on things to complain about.

More… Say what you mean and mean what you say. Less… saying what you think others want you to say.
