How to Build Habits That Last: A Christian Approach to Identity and Consistency
The Christian Life Coach Podcast Episode 75
In a coaching program I am very active in, July we talk about habits.
This is a topic very close to my heart! I talk about habits often, and I think about them even more often than I talk about them.
I have been paying attention to and thinking through my own habits. I practiced and solidified some great nourishing habits that enabled me to lose over 80 pounds a few years ago, and then the weight started to creep up.
Why?
Because I wasn’t paying as much attention to those habits. I had shifted my focus onto my coaching practice. I allowed myself to become more permissive (lax) in the habits that would have helped me to maintain my weight.
So, if I want to get back down to my ideal weight (the one I would like to maintain), I want to focus more on those habits and incorporate them back into the habits that I am practicing in my life and business.
Our intentional habits require our attention if we want to continue to practice them.
In this episode I talk about:
Habits are always moving you in on direction or another
Goal-oriented habits vs. Identity-based habits
Why our habits need our attention
Using the habit tracker
and more…

Our habits are either moving us in the direction that we want to go.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:38:33
They're not.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:38:36
That's the topic of…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:38:38
today's episode.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:38:39
Hello and welcome to the Christian Life Coach Podcast. I am Shanna, your Christian Life Coach.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:38:47
Welcome to this.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:38:52
Wednesday in July, if you are watching in real time.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:38:58
And if you are a follower of the show, you may or may not know that In July, I have been winging it.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:39:07
Typically have a pretty fleshed out outline for my podcast episodes and this month.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:39:13
I'm kind of winging it. Although today.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:39:17
I did write some notes.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:39:19
And if you're watching on YouTube or on Spotify, I think you can watch on Spotify now. I held up a page with my notes and.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:39:31
That note was written in the Life on Purpose Planner.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:39:37
by your coach, Shanna Pizer.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:39:41
Available on Amazon and linked in the show notes.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:39:46
Why not, right? Why not?
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:39:48
So, this month in a coaching community that I am a part of.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:39:55
I… the topic in July is always habits, so I have been thinking, you know, more and more about habits, which…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:40:05
I don't know that I could actually think more about habits because I do think a lot about habits.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:40:11
I have several episodes, in fact, about habits. And at the end of this video, if you're watching on YouTube, I will have them so that you can easily go see them.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:40:25
So.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:40:26
I have been… I've been thinking about my own habits, so this is me doing the work in real time.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:40:37
And.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:40:40
The thought behind the thoughts of these notes is that I have been, I love habits, okay? I have a habit tracker.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:40:50
I will also… you can access my habit tracker by going to the link for the podcast resources.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:40:57
And I have been using my habit tracker.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:41:02
Since…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:41:04
2019. So, I have been a huge fan of the Habit Tracker, and when I…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:41:11
Realized that a habit tracker was even a thing.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:41:14
My brain exploded and my world was open.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:41:20
It's the little things in life that really matter, you guys. It's the little things in life. For me, it's a habit tracker.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:41:28
And I used my habit tracker diligently.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:41:35
In my weight loss journey.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:41:39
and created habits that led to weight loss. I felt amazing.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:41:47
And I was building those habits intentionally.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:41:51
to become the person that I wanted to be.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:41:57
And…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:42:02
Do I still have all of those tools? Do I have the ability to, um…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:42:07
Continue on in those habits, absolutely. And I shifted my focus…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:42:13
And this is kind of what I've been pondering lately.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:42:17
So I shifted my focus from.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:42:21
weight loss to business building.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:42:26
for my coaching practice, and the more that I was focusing on my business building.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:42:33
the less I was focused on maintaining those habits to maintain the weight, to maintain the weight loss that I had achieved.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:42:45
So…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:42:47
I was still creating habits and focusing on habits.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:42:51
that were get… that were moving me in the direction that I wanted to go in my business, but I was not focused on the habits that maintained the weight that I wanted to stay out. So, those habits…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:43:04
Got skipped.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:43:06
Until…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:43:08
They were some of them, not all of them, and to differing degrees.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:43:14
kind of…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:43:15
I don't like to use the word, but it kind of is lapsed back into.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:43:21
previous patterns.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:43:24
So…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:43:27
I'm kind of thinking about all of that as I'm thinking about what am I talking about on this podcast today?
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:43:36
Like I said, our habits are either moving us in the direction that we want to go.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:43:43
Or they're not.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:43:46
They're moving us in the direction that we want to go, or they're keeping us where we're at. They're maintaining our current experience.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:43:56
Or.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:43:57
They might be.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:43:58
Reverting back to old patterns.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:44:02
And moving us closer to where we've already been.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:44:09
And where we we may or may not want to be.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:44:14
So habits are either built intentionally.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:44:19
or unintentionally.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:44:21
So we are either being.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:44:25
Focused, intentional, and creating habits on purpose.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:44:30
Or…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:44:31
We are following unintentional habits that we've created through repetition, through practice.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:44:41
unintentionally default mode without really thinking about it. So we we do have habits, whether we created them on purpose or not.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:44:54
And.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:44:56
Intentional habits.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:44:59
need our attention.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:45:02
Like I said.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:45:05
It's easy to fall back into old patterns if we're not being intentional, if we're not paying attention.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:45:14
So if we're not.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:45:17
Taking the time to assess and notice.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:45:23
When we start skipping days of whatever the habit is.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:45:28
Those days…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:45:30
Add up and become weeks and become months.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:45:33
and become yours and become our life, right? Who hasn't started a habit of exercising?
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:45:44
You, you know, you go from, you do the couch to 5K.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:45:48
You go from being a couched potato to…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:45:53
Doing the 5K training. That's an actual training, couch to 5K.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:45:59
And then you run the 5K.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:46:02
And then you skip a day of working out.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:46:06
And then you do it the next day, and then maybe you do it for a week, and then you skip a couple days.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:46:13
And.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:46:14
Before you know it, the habit of moving your body, of intentional movement.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:46:23
Has gone by the wayside.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:46:26
And whatever those old habits, those old patterns, have re-emerged.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:46:33
And before you know it.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:46:37
You have to start the couch to 5K over again if you want to do a 5K, right? So…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:46:42
It takes attention in order to maintain our intentional habits.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:46:52
And there are…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:46:54
I think, and as I'm thinking this through, like, this isn't gospel, this isn't set in stone, right? I didn't… I literally did not do any research to record this podcast today.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:47:05
While I have done a lot of research on habits in the past, but as I'm thinking through today, there are habits that we incorporate in order to achieve a goal, so the couch to 5K.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:47:19
I want to be able to run a 5K on this date.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:47:23
So I'm going to start my training now so that I.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:47:27
Create this habit to be able to run the five k.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:47:32
And it could be to save enough money to buy a certain thing or it could be.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:47:41
And eating, go intermittent fasting in order to get to a certain weight.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:47:48
So anything that is to achieve a goal.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:47:52
these are the habits that I'm going to incorporate in order to achieve that goal. And there's a set, like, this is what I want to achieve.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:48:00
So that's one way to.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:48:04
Create intentional habits.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:48:06
And another way which I like.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:48:11
Even better than that, although there is definitely a place for that, the goal achievement habits.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:48:19
I like to incorporate and create and practice.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:48:26
Habits that.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:48:29
Aren't necessarily to achieve something, but to become the person who.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:48:36
Habits that support the person that I want to be. Habits that support the life that I want to live.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:48:48
The person who…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:48:50
Stewards herself well.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:48:53
Who is a good steward of her body?
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:48:56
of her relationships.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:48:59
of her possessions.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:49:02
Of her finances, of her energy, of her resources.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:49:07
Side note, I wrote a book about that.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:49:10
I have a 31-day devotional called Self-Care as Stewardship, and it talks about all of that. The link is in the show notes. It's great. You should get it.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:49:21
So…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:49:23
Who what are what are the habits that support the person that I want to be?
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:49:30
And those habits don't have an end date, right? It's not like, okay, I've achieved this thing, so now I don't have to do these habits anymore.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:49:39
No, who am I becoming? Who do I want to be? What are the habits that the ideal version of myself.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:49:47
does on a daily basis, on a weekly basis.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:49:53
And also…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:49:55
Are we ever going to achieve the ideal version of ourself?
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:50:02
I don't think so.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:50:04
But we're continually working towards it, not striving.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:50:11
But desiring to steward ourselves well to be the best version of us that we can be today.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:50:20
Perfection is unattainable.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:50:23
So, let's not even…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:50:26
Aspire to it, right? Perfection comes when we meet Jesus in heaven.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:50:31
It's not about perfection.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:50:35
It's about becoming.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:50:37
And being willing to say this, these are the habits that, these are the habits that enable me to be the person that I want to be.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:50:49
This this is like this is my daily goal. These these habits are my daily goal. I want to achieve these every single day.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:50:57
Am I going to? Absolutely not.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:51:01
So writing it down isn't…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:51:07
It's not.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:51:12
I can't judge myself if I don't do it. This is a tool.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:51:16
To build the life that I want to live.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:51:18
to build me into the person that I want to be. And I'm not going to do it perfectly.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:51:23
There's going to be ups and downs. There's going to be weeks where I nail it and I get all of that. I put hearts. I've changed what I do here and there, but when I do the thing, I put a heart.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:51:38
And when I don't do the thing, I put a little X.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:51:44
So in my habit tracker.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:51:46
And it's just for data. It's just for information. I love giving myself hearts. You know, when I give myself an X, I'm like, hmm.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:51:55
What happened here?
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:51:56
So I can assess it.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:52:00
So, our habits are either moving us in the direction that we want to go.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:52:05
Or they're not.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:52:07
Umm, they're either built intentionally.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:52:11
or unintentionally.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:52:15
Intentional habits need our attention.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:52:20
Which?
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:52:21
The habit tracker is great for that. Paying attention.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:52:26
To whether or not.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:52:28
We are consistently doing that thing that we say we're going to do.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:52:37
And this can… this shows up in every area of our life. It shows up in our homes.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:52:44
At work.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:52:45
At church.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:52:47
at family events.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:52:50
And in business.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:52:53
As a business owner or as an employee.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:52:59
What are the habits that support who you want to be?
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:53:04
As a CEO.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:53:07
As a teacher.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:53:09
As a homemaker.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:53:12
As a stay at home mom.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:53:15
As a hairstylist, or a lawyer, or a doctor.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:53:20
What are the habits that support the version of you that you want to be?
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:53:29
List those out. And as I was thinking through this, I haven't done it, but I'm going to do it periodically.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:53:37
Probably… I don't know.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:53:40
Anywhere from two to five times a year, I will journal on.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:53:46
So I am a woman who.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:53:48
And then I will list out all of the things. Who do I want to be?
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:53:53
And some of the things that I write down describe me. They are true about me right now, and some of them…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:54:00
I'm working towards…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:54:03
Yeah. And some of them are.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:54:06
Down the road.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:54:08
But I want to remind myself, who do I want to be? Who am I becoming?
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:54:13
And then, what are the habits that are going to support that? Where do I want to start? Do I want to start with a list of 20 things? No.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:54:24
Maybe one thing.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:54:26
What is the one thing that I could incorporate as a habit and be intentional about and track and pay attention to?
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:54:37
That will move the needle. That will have an impact on other areas.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:54:43
And and one of those I will say is.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:54:48
A planner.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:54:50
The Life on Purpose Planner by Shanna Pizer on Amazon. The link is in the show notes. That is a great habit to incorporate.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:55:00
to move towards being the person that you want to be.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:55:06
Moving your body every day.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:55:09
Getting your water in every day. What are that… what… where can you start? From where you… you are at right now.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:55:16
And that is… my coaching is all founded on.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:55:23
Start where you're at, commit to what you're willing to do consistently, and do it from a place of love.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:55:29
So where you're at right now, what your actual life looks like right now, what is a habit?
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:55:37
That is going to move you towards becoming the woman that you want to be.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:55:44
And that would be a great starting point right now.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:55:47
And then where does that fit into your life?
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:55:50
Where does that fit into your dates?
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:55:53
How can you set yourself up for success?
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:55:57
What in your environment can you.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:56:01
Set up.

It to be.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:56:07
Almost.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:56:09
Easier to do it than to not do it.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:56:13
What could that be? What could that look like?
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:56:18
I have a super easy example. I'm really focused right now on reincorporating my habit.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:56:26
of…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:56:27
Drinking.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:56:29
All of the water. My goal right now is a gallon a day.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:56:32
And so I have a gallon jug.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:56:35
That I fill up every morning and put on my counter.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:56:39
And some days when I go to bed.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:56:42
There's not much water missing from that jug. And some days, like yesterday when I went to bed, it was empty.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:56:50
Am I doing it perfectly? No.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:56:52
But that environmental cue of having — and I like room temperature water.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:56:58
And I like to chug water. I don't like to sip.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:57:02
water, so I don't generally carry, like, you know, uh…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:57:07
Whatever those things are that people carry, their emotional support water bottles.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:57:12
I'm a I'm a chugger, so I'll stand at the counter and just chug.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:57:17
But how can you, what in your environment can you adjust?
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:57:23
Or set up to help you.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:57:27
Um, to more consistently and more simply.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:57:32
Do that thing that's on your list or on your habit tracker that you want to incorporate.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:57:42
So, yeah.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:57:44
There you have it. And.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:57:46
And the habit tracker, you can look at it as a, um… it can be used against you. You can use it against yourself as a weapon, and that's not the purpose at all. The purpose is…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:57:57
How can I use this tool?
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:58:00
to build.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:58:01
the life that I want to live to become the person that I want to be.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:58:06
One habit at a time.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:58:11
What would that look like? Where are you going to start? I would love to know.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:58:15
Tell me all about it.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:58:18
And, if you are a coach, and you are creating a coaching practice, Full Steam Ahead is starting in August.

[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:58:36
And we use habits.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:58:40
I call them minimum baselines.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:58:42
I actually call them minimum baselines in life coaching and in business coaching. Um…
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:58:47
But if you're a coach, and you are working on building your coaching practice, check out Full Steam Ahead, I would love to have you.
[Shanna Pyzer | shannapyzer.com] 11:58:56
